Vitax Garden Lime 3kg

A virtually dust-free granular soil conditioner, Garden Lime has all the advantages of powdered lime, without the need to handle dusty material.

Easy-to-use, Garden Lime neutralises acid, sour soils enabling beneficial soil bacteria to flourish and release the plant foods ‘locked in’ by acid soils.

Garden Lime:

Adds calcium and magnesium to the soil

Improves the drainage of heavy clay soils

Reduces risk of club root in cabbages and other brassicas

For acid soils, apply Garden Lime from September onwards. Garden Lime can also be used in normal soils and can be applied every two or three years. Where possible, try to avoid lodging on leaves and stems.

In addition to conditioning soil, Garden Lime can also be used to speed up the composting of garden waste.

Keep out of reach of children, pets and foodstuffs. Always read the label before use and store in a dry place.

Local deliveries - This area includes all of Dublin, North Kildare, North Wicklow, parts of Louth and Meath and other parts of Leinster too.  These are carried out by our friendly Monahan's drivers, we aim to have these deliveries made in 3-5 working days but very often much sooner.  Our drivers will do what they can to deliver your items exactly where you want them but some surfaces such as gravel, grass or steps as well as access issues will prevent us from being able to do this. Nationwide pallet deliveries - Larger palletised kiln-dried firewood, outdoor furniture and BBQs are shipped through the pallet network and we can only guarantee a curb side delivery.  You will be contacted before the items are shipped by the company carrying out the delivery.  On arrival, please check your order and notify us promptly of any issues.

Nationwide smaller items - Smaller orders including BBQ accessories, garden items, household essentials and fireside accessories are delivered nationwide with DPD. Please include your Eircode and a mobile number at checkout to avoid delays.
